The Efficient Coach

Thomas is a Dutch Basketball coach who has coached in a lot of different roles, countries and levels of the game. He is passionate about basketball and developing players to fulfill their maximum potential.

He has some interesting perspectives on talent development, team performance and coach education that made this into a great conversation. We talk a lot about how to develop young players, looking at some differences between basketball and other sports, such as football (soccer).

Thomas offers one of the best quotes in the short history of this podcast IMO when we talk about what he wish he did differently when starting his coaching career.

Listen to this episode if you like hearing a different perspective on a much debated topic.
